Our first blog post..... MexPup was officially launched in June of 2011. Since that time, we have rescued and placed 26 abused, abandoned and unwanted dogs, so as you can understand, we have spent the first few months running. We are barely staying stay ahead of the need and still trying to get better organized so that we can do more. There always are more dogs in need, but we have been blessed with the amount of support that we have received, and we continue to make a difference. We were hopeful in the beginning, but we didn’t have any idea just how many people cared & were willing to help us to make a difference for the street animals of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. MexPup is the sum of all of you that care, share our page, donate, volunteer, stop to help animals and do what you can to make a difference. I have met the most wonderful people in the past few months & know that I will continue to meet more. Humans that care about animal rescue are amazing, wonderful, caring, thoughtful, funny & interesting people. We are grateful for everyone’s support & continue to hope for a world with no homeless animals.

I tried to donate, I could not enter my state in the US. Only Canadian provinces were permitted. You might want to change this so US citizens can donate. You missed my $500USD.

I am sure that MexPup will be able to help a lot of homeless dogs in the future. It's just sad that there are still dogs who are suffering and maltreated for a lot of times already. They don't need it. What they need is love and care form people, and it is part of our responsibility to give it to them! I feel sad because there are still people who think highly of themselves and they do not prioritize animals around them. It breaks my heart knowing that there are still pets who are hurt because of people's action.
